by RodNovember 24, 2016

After the bad reception Prometheus had in 2012, 20th Century Fox is doing everything to win back the trust from the fans with the next release of the franchise, this time with Alien: Covenant. They just released the first poster for the movie and it says a lot even in its own simplicity.

Take a look…

The poster was released on their Twitter account, the poster, like we said, has a simple look, but gives the fans and idea on what is coming, a terrifying movie that will have us at edge of our seats, the poster has one word that gives this sense, “RUN”…

According to Michael Fassbender this creatures are not Xenomorphs, they will be called Neomorphs and seems that this is the way they will connect the new movies with the original trilogy and at some point the Xenomorph will make its appearance.

Another thing to note in the poster, is that at the bottom there’s a date, May 19. Alien: Covenant was originally planned tp come out on October 6, the they changed it to August 4, 2017, but now it’s confirmed that the release date will be May 19, 2017.

There’s only six months for the release and we will be waiting for the trailer soon, and it will give us more about the movie and what to expect from it.

Alien: Covenant will follow the crew of the colony ship that’s been sent to a planet on the far side of the galaxy that they believe to be an uncharted paradise. Little do they know of the horrors that await them below.

Katherine Waterson (Daniels), Danny McBride (pilot), Guy Peace (Peter Weyland), Michael Fassbender (David the Android), Noomi Rapace (Elizabeth Shaw), Billy Crudup, Demian Bichir and more will be the cast for the movie.
