Black Panther movie Flashback will feature a Young T’Challa
More information is becoming available about the film and this time the East Bay Times has a new report that reveals interesting information about the upcoming Black Panther movie that says that the production has secured the rights to a 90’s era model of one of the public transport buses for a scene set in T’Challa’s past.
According to the media outlet, the scene will the hero’s American education at Saint Mary’s College High School in Berkeley. This information has yet to be confirmed but we can expect a few surprises.
They’ve learned that Marvel Studios asked for permission to use an AC Transit bus logo from the ’90s for their upcoming movie. In one scene, the film’s protagonist has a flashback to 1990, while he was a student at Saint Mary’s College High School in Berkeley. And of course, he’s a daily AC Transit commuter. Cue the 1990s-era bus for the appropriate establishing shot.
This information makes things interesting, as it will tell us the origin story of the hero and we will have to wait to see what Ryan Coogler and his team are working on.
The film will be released in theaters on February 16, 2018
