A Couple of News for Yu-Gi-Oh! Fans
Good news for Yu-Gi-Oh! fans, a new anime series is in development and it is planned to be released on 2017, this will be the sixth series based on the popular card game. The series is being produced by Gallop and it will premiere on TV Tokyo and its affiliates.
This information was shared on the franchise’s official Twitter account along of a picture of the series protagonist whose name is Yusako Fujiki, other than this there is no other information related to the series except for a short description on Crunchyroll of what the theme of this new series will be.
“The latest 6th installment is aimed at children who give up their dreams before actually trying due to information overloading, hoping to encourage them to take a step to try things that they like and that they are interested in. The protagonist Yusaku is a boy who excessively hates to stand out and not noticeable at his school. But through the duels, he meets various type of people, then starts to take a step and try things.”
Right now the 5th series Yu-Gi-Oh! V-Arc is being aired and it is expected to end before the new one premieres, in additional news about this franchise, the new movie’s tittle is Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Side of Dimensions its planned to be released soon, with limited airings in the U.S. Starting on January 27. The synopsis of the film states as follows:
